    Noteringar:

    January 07, 1915 Original birth certificate says born 1-10-1915. Real name is Richard Foss. His adoption papers refer tohim as Riley Foss.

    July 11, 1998 - Note entered by Jane Case - On Larry's original Social Security Form SS5 application for a SS#, he states that he was born in Lincoln, NE on January 7, 1915. He lists his occupation as farming.

    He worked for Kunkel Auto Supply in North Platte, NE for many years. He also worked for the Union Pacific railroad on two different occasions. About 1951 we moved to Imperial, NE where Larry worked for the Chevrolet dealer there. One year later we moved back to North Platte, NE.

    May 20, 1995 he died of Respiratory Arrest due to Congestive Heart Failure. He is buried at Roselawn Memorial Park, Van Vleck, TX

    Lawrence C. Krause, 80, of Bay City, TX passed away May 20, 1995 at his residence. He was born January 7, 1915 in Omaha,Nebraska. He was adopted by Carl and Rose (Marsolek) Krause.

    He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Gordon Mozley of Van Vleck, TX and Jane and Jim Case of Nashville, TN, one son-in-law, Jack Anthony of Denver, Colorado, five grandaughters and nine great grandchildren.

    Graveside services are scheduled for 4:00 pm Wednesday, May 24, 1995 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck with Rev. Michael Aus officiating.

    Arrangements are with Taylor Brothers Funeral Home in Bay City, Texas.

    She was a mother, homemaker and worked for Dr. Neihus & Pinkerton for a time. She also worked for Dr. Mack, a dentist in North Platte, NE. Also worked at Allen's drug store in North Platte, NE.

    On Eula's marriage license to Larry Krause, she states that her occupation as a Beauty Operator.

    November 1987 Eula & Larry moved to Bay City, Texas.

    December 06, 1988 she died in Bay City, TX hospital. December 10, 1988 she was buried in the Roselawn Memorial Park, VanVleck, TX. Arrangements were by Taylor Bros. Funeral Home, Bay City, TX. Honorary pallbearers: Jack Anthony, Scott Shenefelt, Gifford Peterson, Dennis Peterson, Gordon Mozley, Jim Case, Chuck McClary. Active Pallbearers: Jack Downs, David Schmoker, Willie Denhow, Rick Davis, Dale Marshall & David Downs. She is buried at Roselawn Memorial Park, Van Vleck, TX.

    Eula and her father Carl Peterson died on the same day, in the same month, but different years.

    OBITUARY: Eula Maxine Krause was born to Carl and Ethel Peterson on June 8, 1919 in David City, Nebraska. She was one oftwo children who has been preceded in death by both parents.

    She was married to Lawrence Carl Krause on October 18, 1936 in North Platte, Nebraska. To this union two children were born, Patricia Joann and Jane Marie.

    She spent most of her life in North Platte, Nebraska, working and raising her family and moved to Bay City, Texas in November of 1987.

    Survivors are: husband, Lawrence Krause; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Gordon Mozley, Jane Anthony and Jim Case, son-in-law Jack Anthony, brother and sister-in-law, Gifford and Helen Peterson, grandaughters, Susan Waechter, Chris Schlager, Lesa Samuels, Jeannie Shenefelt, Kelly Anthony, and nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Eula and Larry celebrated their wedding anniversaries on October 18 every year. When in actuality, they were married by the Justice of the Peace on October 17, 1936, the same day they got their marriage license. Eula was 17 years old and had to have her mother sign for her to get married. I don't know why they celebrated it on the 18, but I didn't discover this until I got a copy of their marriage license.
